The project aims to characterize demographic correlates of concurrent sexual partnerships in Mozambique using multivariable, logistic regressions of an existing dataset in order to achieve this objective. The overall goal of this project is to better understand this complex risk factor for HIV infection (concurrency) so as to target our HIV prevention efforts for more effective results.
"Triangulation workshops" gathered participants working together on HIV behavioral research, surveillance, and prevention to brainstorm concurrency and the role(s) it might be playing in the Mozambican HIV epidemic.
